This poster describes the twenty gunas of Ayurveda, the effect of each guna (quality) on the doshas, and examples of herbs or foods that contain each guna.
The twenty gunas are a key concept in Ayurveda, there are ten sets of opposites described in the Astanga Hrdayam, each dosha has a set of these gunas (qualities), every food, herb and substance contain different combinations of these qualities and if we understand this we can know how different substances effect us.
